The golden hour, right after sunrise and right before sunset, is often considered the best time for photography. I enjoy the sky view and photographing it during civil and nautical twilight, the contrast between what remains of the light and the encroaching darkness.

Years ago, when I worked an overnight shift, I enjoyed the moments when I could witness the morning twilight. It was a more peaceful experience; most of the population near me was still in bed or just getting up, the buzz of daily life had not started.
