Do you believe in karma?

I believe in the eastern philosophies such as Hinduism and Buddhism’s definition of karma as a dynamic energy pattern in which your choices, habits, and reactions shape your future experiences. In the western world it is viewed as a system of cosmic punishment or cosmic luck, a misunderstanding in my view.

Karma is closer to the Golden Rule than most people think. How we treat our neighbors affects how we are treated. By doing good for others, we are doing good for ourselves.
