Berries along the edge of a remote pond in a less-visited section of Acadia National Park.  Not a place you will find on any top 10 list of Acadia’s must-see spots.  

But a place without the crowds, the cars, the signs, a place where the only evidence of humans being here is the footpath I walked on to reach this spot, a place where I only expect to experience nature and the natural world around me.  

Places like these are all over Acadia. Look for the path less traveled, leave the top 10 list for others to conquer, make your own list of places to find, explore, and enjoy the memories of.
