Sand Beach

The crowds are long gone.

The green of summer has been replaced by the white of winter.

The tides and waves still touch the beach, keeping it uncovered by the white blanket of winter.

There is no silence, just the silence of humans.

If you listen closely, you can hear the beach resting, waiting til the summer crowds return.

Sand Beach, Acadia National Park.
