On a recent evening of kayaking an isolated pond in Western Maine, we came upon a cluster of water lilies, or Nymphaea odorata. As the daylight faded, most of the flowers had closed, with a few not quite closed. I managed to photograph a few of them. I hope you enjoy the one I’m sharing today.
