I was near the Southern Maine coast, leaving a get-together, when I saw that the sky was a blend of soft colors.  I decided to stop by a favorite beach of mine, knowing I would arrive after sunset.  

I arrived to find the tide high, the remaining beach covered with snow and ice. The sky a soft blend of whites, yellows, grays, and blues.  Cold but refreshing.  A moment to reflect on how busy the last few weeks had been.  A moment to take in what nature had created for me to see.
