A Walk In The Woods.

On the western side of Mount Desert Island, there is a trail through a forest, a place where your mind can wander and find peace.  A place that is part of Acadia National Park, but is far from the crowds, far from those seeking to complete the top ten list of must-see places pushed by so many social media influencers, who have never stepped off the beaten path.

A place where there is no sound other than the wind through the treetops.  A place where time stands still.  A place to reconnect with the natural world.  A place where you can look deep within yourself, where have you been, where are you going.

There are places like this all around, waiting for you to discover them.  When you do find one of these places, remember to cherish it and keep it protected.
