I was up earlier than usual this morning. On mornings like this, I look forward to the chance to grab a few photos of the golden hour. This morning, the area I was traveling through had overcast skies with a bit of the orange glow of the coming sunrise off in the distance.
I happened to pass over the Presumpscot River and saw an opportunity. I turned around and pulled into a dirt parking lot used by fishermen. I made my way to the river’s edge. A few well-placed rocks allowed me to step back from the shore a bit to get a better photo of the river. Not the very-morning images I was hoping for, but still good.
Today’s lesson, you never know when an opportunity will appear.
