I took this photo a few weeks ago.  As I recently revisited it, my thought was that the day that is approaching in the photo was forged from the fires. However, it is actually us, individuals who are forged in the fires. Unfortunately, not all of us will build better lives for ourselves from the hardships we have faced and the challenges thrown at us.  For those of us who do, we will live more fulfilled lives.
