Just Off The Path.

Just off a short trail, among the fallen, decaying birch trees, grow the small orange fugues.  They shot up past the grays and greens spread across the forest floor.  Their presence causes me to stop and wonder if there is another, smaller world these fugues are part of.  Some questions remain unknown.  I continued along on my walk in the woods, happy to have seen these fugues and glad I got a few photos of them.
