Generally speaking, I enjoy hiking in new places and mountains and discovering new sights, at least new sights to me.  Despite that, Schoodic Mtn is one of those places I continually return to.  It is familiar, but it still challenges you and ultimately rewards you.  Once at the top, the mountain offers you comfort, a place to let my thoughts flow while the wind still blows, so I know I’m in a place that can be harsh given the right conditions.  We need places like these to go to, to seek within us, to recharge our batteries, and to give us strength in the day-to-day that our work lives bring to us, knowing someday I will return to Schoodic Mountain.
