On many of my walks through the woods and mountains, I encounter mushrooms and fungi. More often than not, these are present to my eyes as a picture worth capturing. These pictures I took of these mushrooms, possibly Pluteus Cervinus, were taken on a hike of Mount Hale. Mount Hale is a 4054-foot mountain in the White Mountains National Forest in New Hampshire.
I appreciate how the mushrooms are growing next to this downed tree branch and the change of color in the branch – artwork in the natural world.
