Rainy Days

A cleansing of the Earth, rainwater falling from the sky. Water droplets rinse surfaces on the journey down, down to the ground, to the lower points as they travel to join other droplets. To the streams, brooks, and rivers, always moving, don’t stand still. Into the ponds and lakes, then off to the ocean, till evaporation sucks the droplets off the surface and back to the sky the droplets return.

A spot along Sucker Brook in Sebago, Maine, during a rainstorm.
