It has been another long winter. Short cold days and longer colder nights. Sure, some of us enjoy winter, alpine skiing, snowshoeing, ice skating, and many other winter activities. But it is summer that most of us enjoy, and spring is a sign that longer, warmer days are ahead. But Mother Nature does love to give us a wake-up call every once in a while; today was one of those days. One of our favorite places for breakfast has recently placed its outside tables and chairs out for the warmer days. This morning, the beautiful plants on those tables felt the cold of a spring snowflake. Warmer summer days will arrive; today was just a bump in the road.
